Our cinemas reopen on the 10th July, and we here at S&B Cinemas have been hard at work making sure our venues are safe so that you can continue to enjoy the movies. These procedures have been developed with the UKCA and Public Health England. When visiting the cinema, things may work a little differently for now – here are some of the procedures you can expect to find when you visit us…
The number of people admitted to screens will be limited to help us maintain social distancing, a special system will be in place to ensure only family groups sit together. To avoid disappointment please book in advance where possible. To allow every customer to safely take their seats, the pre-show before the film may on occasion last for longer than usual. Transactions may take longer due to staff social distancing. To comply with physical distancing requirements, showtimes will be staggered so that no two screens are seating at the same time.
A managed queue will be in place when you enter the cinema, please queue 2 metres apart and follow all instructions from the staff. Toilet facilities will still be available but capacity may be more limited than usual, and you may have to queue. You may be asked to use a different exit than the one you are used to, please listen for staff instructions. A single queue for tickets and snacks and drinks will be in place, please order everything at the same time.
Advanced booking is strongly advised Please try to use contactless forms of payment where possible (we accept all contactless cards, Google Pay & Apple Pay) When you book, the system automatically blocks off seats so that no one else will be sat next to you. Groups must be from the same household. please try to not leave additional single seats when you choose your seats.
We have installed screens at our service points and staff will be provided with the necessary PPE required Please wash or sanitise your hands frequently. Sanitiser will be available We have increased our cleaning schedule, and will be frequently disinfecting contact points around the building You will be asked for contact details for every booking including those made in the box office, please provide these.
